Clay Parker is a folk singer/songwriter from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His songs, often characterized by finger-picked guitar and a slow southern drawl, range from ballads to blues and communicate a simplistic style. He has released three albums - "The Wind & The Warble" (2011), "Any Old Time" (2013), and "Queen City Blues" (2017).
Aside from solo work, Parker has also paired up with Louisiana native Jodi James as a duo act. Their releases include an EP, "Clay Parker and Jodi James" (2015) and a full-length album, "The Lonesomest Sound That Can Sound" (2018), and the two remain on a regular tour schedule around the U.S.

"Country music is at its best when it is telling a heart felt story. Clay Parker is country music at its best. These are songs you’d expect to hear from a grizzled character twice Parker’s age delivered with sweet, pure sincerity." -- DJ Clay Achee, WHYR 96.9
